I cant stand when you hear about something, say a band for example, and you really like them but when you tell you friends or any other people to listen to them, they dont bother and just shrug and carry on with their lives.
Then the band will get a song into the charts and everyones suddenly obsessed with them, and youre like 'hello?! i heard of them ages ago mate!'

It was the same with the Boosh. I got into them about 2004/2005 after my dad starting watching it [yes my dad, he'd seen them in pubs before they even had the radio series! and has been a fan ever since], and as soon as we all watched it together my brother and I were addicted. I got a few friends into it, but hardly anyone i knew had ever heard of Noel or Julian. Then along strolls 2006/2007 and everyone knows them! now its almost seemed 'uncool' if you dont know who the boosh are! So people are recommending them to me and Im like 'I TOLD YOU TO WATCH IT LAST YEAR! GET WITH THE TIMES FOOL!'

things like that annoy me.
anyone else get like that?

I still don't know who the Boosh are? I will check them out though, co's I feel I must get with the times :-)

By the way that David Coverdale, turned out to be fantastic,

I did tell everyone at the time!

I'm like that all the time I tell my friends about stuff and they dont even bother to check it out and recently one of my friends started getting into the boosh and she quotes it wrong all the time and thinks she knows more about it than me and she fucking doesn't and it pisses me off all the time.

and then if you tell them theye saying it wrong they insist theyre right and that theyre a bigger fan than anyone else ect.

I don't know what's most annoying; people who just don't listen or people who claims to be biggest fan the moment something goes mainstream/populare..

It really bugs me when I tell a friend about this band, thing, show.. he or she should check out, and they DON'T do it! What's up with that? I'm being polite to tell them about a thing I think they'll like and they are too busy to spend 5 minutes on it?? ô.O
... Oh and it gets even worse if I'm listening to a new band and a friend, whom I told about this exact band just few days earlier, goes "Oh, that sounds great, who is it?"... (O.O)

haha that is so annoying! especially when someone told you they checked them out, then you find out they obviously havent and they try to make a lame excuse

come join the group, make the t-shirts, all shall be peachy :)

I get that all of the time with my friends. It took them 4 months to actually start listening to robots in disguise when i first introduced it to them
and the Boosh aswell. I knew about them since about 2005 and my friends didn't actually start paying any attention to me until i started getting into really deep conversations with these boys about it and then they didn't want to be left out.

Sigh ingnorant friends. Got to love them though.

I still find people that find them too weird/haven't heard of them though..I kinda like that sometimes.

i like it when people say they havent watched them, then i recomment, they get hooked and i feel ive spread some lovely boosh love :)

i also like when people say brag theyve been a fan since 2006, then i turn around and go '2004 mate'

makes me feel slightly smug haha

i caught the last 10 minutes of the first ever episode after firstly thinking 'what the hell are you watching dad?!' then that made me want to watch the next one. I watched that and voila! i was hooked :)
